founding partners of Sedulous, Inc. is responsible directly for the services
provided. The founding partners are:
THOMAS R. GIDDENS
Thomas R. Giddens has had extensive fundraising management
and consulting experience, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Over the past 25 years he has been the chief executive or principal
development officer of institutions serving higher education
and the arts communities. He has served as the Director of Development
of Ruth Eckerd Hall, Senior Vice President for Advancement of
the Florida Orchestra, Vice President of Development of Eckerd
College and Vice President for Development of Rockford College.
As a development officer, he has had direct and personal responsibility
for cultivating and soliciting over $100 million in gifts. He
continues to carry today an active portfolio of donors he cultivates
and solicits for The University of Tampa where he serves as
Director of Planned Giving.
As a fundraising consultant, he has conducted numerous internal
audits and feasibility studies and has provided ongoing campaign
counsel to national clients conducting campaigns ranging in
size from $10 million to $445 million. Additionally, he has
facilitated numerous workshops for Board, staff and volunteer
training in the area of fundraising and has designed and developed
the installation or enhancement of major gifts and planned giving
programs.
Prior to entering the fundraising management and consulting
fields, he spent 18 years teaching, publishing and serving in
various academic administrative positions at institutions of
higher education located in the East, Midwest and South.
He was graduated with an A.B degree from Beloit College in Beloit,
Wisconsin and was awarded his A.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana
University in Bloomington, Indiana.

LAURIE KRENTZMAN-GIDDENS
Laurie K. Giddens has served for the past twenty years in
various executive level positions in the areas of staffing,
public relations, customer relations, sales and marketing. As
a founder and principal of Sedulous, Inc., she specializes in
the recruitment of senior level manager positions for profit
industries.
Mrs.Giddens has significant executive recruiting experience
in the following areas:

Most recently, she has been focusing her efforts and making extensive
placements in Software Development and Telecommunications fields.
She has had a great deal of experience working with start-up or
venture backed companies that are in the process of or on track
